Florence Barlow
Florence and her husband James moved to Windsor in 1972.They were looking for a town in which to raise their son Jim and fell in love with Windsor. Jim attending the Windsor school system, graduating in 1984.

Her volunteering started at Oliver Ellsworth when Jim was in Elementary School. Before starting work full time, she would volunteer in his class once a week. Then the sports years came and she was involved in helping in the snack booth, carrying equipment and helping other mothers with all of the odd jobs needed with Little League. After Jim graduated she realized there were other areas that needed volunteers.

She has been either on the Board or a member of:

She has been awarded the Citizen of the Year Award, Bridge Builders Award and served as Grand Marshall in the Shad Derby Parade

Florence is a Certified Dental Technician in Wethersfield. She loves gardening and had her gardens on the Historical Society Garden tour this year.
